Téry's Hut
Source: Chata · Last verified: today
The highest year-round mountain hut in the High Tatras, at 2,015 m in the upper Malá Studená valley beside the Five Spiš Tarns. Built in 1899 and named after Edmund Téry, it offers dormitory beds and catering, powered by solar and a generator. On-site water is utility-grade only — not for drinking; boil or buy water instead. Sleeping bag and blanket are provided but bring your own liner. Northern approaches via Sedielko / Priečne sedlo are demanding, with chained sections.
