Útulna Strakov is a small wooden shelter built in 2022 on the bank of rybník Strakov in the Přírodní park Zelenov (Český les) at 460 m elevation. It sits on the Zelenovské údolí nature trail and is operated by Domažlické městské lesy. The shelter has a terrace extending over the pond, benches and a table inside, a sleeping loft for up to 4 people, a fire pit, and a dry toilet nearby. Overnight stays cannot be reserved — the shelter is open year-round for hikers needing emergency shelter or a simple overnight stop. Bring your own sleeping gear. No smoking inside; take all rubbish with you.
