Útulňa Kapucínka is an unstaffed shelter in the Kremnické vrchy at 853 m, open year-round and free to use, with capacity for 11. Unusually for Slovak shelters, it was built by the Capuchin religious order rather than by hiking clubs or state agencies. Located near Kremnické Bane, an area sometimes called the geographic centre of Europe. Bring your own sleeping gear.
