Útulňa SNP Sklené is an unstaffed shelter in the Žiar mountains at 819 m, opened May 2024, open year-round and free to use, with capacity for 7. The second shelter built by OZ Cesta hrdinov SNP, on the red-marked Cesta hrdinov SNP trail near the village of Sklené, primarily for long-distance hikers crossing Slovakia's longest trail. Bring your own sleeping gear.
