About

Chata pod Suchým is a staffed mountain hut in the Malá Fatra at 1,075 m, open year-round, with capacity for 51. A natural starting point for the Krivánska Malá Fatra ridge traverse — about an hour from the hut to the ridge. Coming the other way, the hut's red roof becomes visible from the rocky ridge before the summit of Mount Suchý.
