Chata Hostinec is the only non-commercial mountain hut in the Kremnické vrchy, a staffed log cabin at 1,150 m with capacity for 20, open year-round. Originally a roadside inn for centuries, it now serves cross-country skiers, cyclists, and hikers in the area between Kremnica, Banská Bystrica, and Žiar nad Hronom. Authentic mountain atmosphere with food and drink available.
